In episode 7 “Silver Alert”, our trio found their missing finger only to lose it again to Camila – Camila who plans to build her casino in the Arconia!
The invites Mabel to a party she cannot attend. This ladies’ night party is thrown by Camila White under the Arconia. Conveniently, all flights are being cancelled and Loretta comes back to attend. She’s accompanied by Donna, who was trying to leave for her vacations.
The group hatch a plan to get Camila to confess. Loretta believes she can have her confess to the murder by talking to a ghost. What a discovery – for us, but for Oliver as well apparently!
Our lady trio turns into a quatuor when they bump into a sad Rainey (Lester’s widow). In the meantime, Charles and Oliver want to convince the residents of the Arconia to not sell. They find quite a few are empty. Camila already owns almost half of the units in the building after all. Randall calls them to talk to Grover, a therapist that lives in the building.
Donna exchanges her sparkly dress to a dealer’s costume – on their side, Rainey, Mabel and Loretta separates. When they find Donna, they sit down for a game of Blackjack. Loretta sits down in character – as Celerie, her former roommate the medium. While Donna makes camila loses, Loretta tries to get close to her.
Continuing on their quest, Charles and Oliver end up with Grover in Charles’ appartment. Their neighbour believe he’s doing couples’ therapy. Donna interrupts – and join the session.
A little birdie told me
Back to the Ladies’ night, Camila is having flashbacks of that one dreadful night, pushed by Celerie’s feelings of the ghost. Turns out Camila had a thing for Nicky and partnered up for the casino. But the revelation ends abruptly with the mention of a “fucking doorman” once Camila learns she got the last appartment she needed to win the Arconia.
Loretta comes back full of revelations – and with Lester’s BLOODY elevator crank! She might have just found the murder weapon in Nicky’s office. And for another exciting revelation: Rainey and Fish realized Lester’s bird camera is activated by the bird wistle. The bird camera is in the courtyard and directed towards the fountain! They can watch the video at the time of Lester’s death. The “fucking doorman” Camila was refering to isn’t Lester but Randall!
