At the end of Episode 4 “Dirty Birds”, as Mabel realises Jay (and the billionnaires)’s story about his finger is a lie. But our trio turns out to be bound by a their newly signed contract: they are now unable to “podcast about management of the company” because of course Bash, Jay and Camila have now become shareholders of Wondify.
This episode starts with our amateur detectives and the actual detective – Donna Williams, in the underground gaming parlor. They try to explain their findings, but everything is gone, replaced. Oliver finds a shrimp tails and is now convince the shrimp comes from a missing tub from his wedding. Charles, on the other end, is using a dating app (love the name btw). He also seems to be taking part in a trial for a new testosterone drug, but we don’t know much about it yet.

Howard (Michael Cyril Creighton) is cosy with LESTR. Charles meets up with Sofia Caccimelio (Téa Leoni) while Mabel and Oliver seek out the employees of the Arconia for some information. Miller appears to know a lot about our trio thanks to their trash. And since we always needs something shadier, how do we feel about the mayor appearing again? Is Mayor Tillman (Keegan-Michael Key) a fan of the podcast? Or is he trying to learn about the podcasters know?
Sofia denies knowing Nicky’s illegal activities under the Arconia. Their flirt is incredibly ridiculous and oh so enjoyable to watch. This has to be a move of some kind, because we know how the screenwriters love to muddy the waters.

LESTR’s out – literaly. When Charles’ phone is missing, our detectives decide to follow their lead. Are Sofia and Lorraine (Lester’s wife) really working together? Could they have exchange their targets (and kill the husband of the other)? As always, the show entertwines mystery, tension and humour so well.
