Death Stranding 2 has been in the works for years now. Following the story of the first game Death Stranding, Death Stranding 2: On the Beach stars Norman Reedus as Sam, Léa Seydoux as Fragile, George Miller (performance by Marty Rhone) as Tarman and his winged black cat, Troy Bake as Higgs, Elle Fanning as Tomorrow, Fatih Akin (performance by Jonathan Roumie) as Dollman, Shioli Kutsuna as Rainy, Alastair Duncan as The President, Alissa Jung as Lucy, Nicolas Winding Refn (performance by Darren Jacobs) as Heartman, Luca Marinelli as Neil, and Debra Wilson as Doctor.
The soundtrack is composed by Woodkid (Arcane) and Ludvig Forssell (Death Stranding). A 10-minute trailer featuring Woodkid’s new song “To the Wilders” teases the story’s origins, new machines and an even deeper dive into the Death Stranding universe.
Death Stranding 2: On The Beach will be released on June 26, 2025 exclusively on PS5, and is already available on pre-order.
