The It franchise expands. Six years after It Chapter Two, a new series is coming this fall. It: Welcome to Derry is directed by Andy Muschietti, who already signed the two previous chapters of the horror franchise. Directly inspired by Stephen King’s novel, the series is written by Andy Muschietti, Barbara Muschietti, and Jason Fuchs. It goes back in time, set in three different years, each season taking place in a different year: 1962, 1935, and 1908.

The cast includes Taylour Paige (Zola), Jovan Adepo (Fences), Chris Chalk (Perry Mason), James Remar (Oppenheimer), Stephen Rider (Daredevil), Madeleine Stowe (Twelve Monkeys), Rudy Mancuso (The Flash), and Bill Skarsgård (It Chapter Two), who comes back in the role of Pennywise (as seen in the trailer).
